Your Zoom meeting, in every language in the room
Picture a national town hall. The CEO is speaking English in Toronto. In Québec City, a team lead hears her in French, half a beat behind, with the same warmth and the same punchline. Neither of them thinks about how it works. That is remote Zoom interpretation done properly, and it is what we deliver.
Zoom has language interpretation built right in for meetings and webinars. Once it is switched on, each interpreter works a language channel and every participant chooses what they hear. We supply the people who make those channels worth listening to: accredited conference interpreters, backed by a technician who handles setup and monitors the session from start to finish.
Two ways to work with us
Fully managed (recommended). We configure the interpretation channels, run a connection test with every interpreter, and keep a technician on the call from start to finish. Audio issues, interpreter connections, and participant questions are resolved discreetly, so your meeting is never interrupted. It is the right choice for webinars, public sessions, and any meeting where a technical problem is not an option.
Interpreters only. For teams that already run Zoom interpretation in-house, we can supply the interpreters and your staff manage the platform.
What we need from the host
- A Zoom account with language interpretation available and enabled in settings
- The meeting or webinar scheduled, with the link shared with us in advance
- Speakers on a headset or external microphone, with a stable connection
- Slides, agendas, and speaking notes sent ahead, so interpreters can prepare terminology
Zoom adjusts its features and plan requirements from time to time. If you are not sure your account is ready, book a short test call with us and we will check it together.
The little things that sink interpreted Zoom calls
| What goes wrong | Why it happens | How we prevent it |
|---|---|---|
| Nobody can find the language menu | Interpretation was never started, or the app is out of date | We start interpretation before the opening remarks and announce it in both languages |
| Interpreters struggle to hear | A speaker is on laptop audio in an echoey room | Speaker briefing and a sound check before you go live |
| The recording is missing a language | Recordings do not always capture every channel | We agree on the audio you need and test the recording first |
| Quality dips late in the day | Too little interpreter coverage for the session | Interpretation staffed to suit your needs, with a plan agreed in advance |
