One provider for the room and the screen
Hybrid and virtual events put interpretation in two places at once: the people in the room, if there is one, and the people joining online. We handle both sides, so you have a single point of contact for interpreters, equipment, and the platform.
Virtual events
For a fully online meeting, webinar, or consultation, interpreters join remotely and work in the platform's interpretation channels. Participants choose their language and listen in real time.
- Works on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Google Meet
- Dedicated interpretation platforms for larger audiences
- Fully managed, with a technician monitoring the call, or self-managed with interpreters only
See Zoom interpretation for how the participant experience works.
Hybrid events
For a hybrid event, delegates in the room listen through headsets while remote participants receive the same interpreted feed through the virtual platform.
- On-site crew for booth placement, audio routing, and channel configuration
- Interpreters in a booth on site, or working remotely with a clean audio and video feed from the room
- A technical rehearsal with the on-site crew, the interpreters, and your platform host before the live session
- Live monitoring of both the in-room and online audio
More detail is on our hybrid interpretation and hybrid event AV pages.

Who this is for
Federal and provincial departments running consultations, associations with a national or international membership, and organizations in Ottawa-Gatineau whose venue cannot hold every registrant. Because the interpreters and the online side can be anywhere, we support hybrid and virtual events well beyond the National Capital Region.
